It seems as though it has been an age since the chequered flag was waved for the final time in La Colla to crown Harry Walker as the new champion, however, the 2025 EMX Quadcross season is fast-approaching, and with riders and teams alike putting their plans into action, it will not be too long until the gate drops to commence the new season.
The 2025 calendar promises to provide incredible action throughout the 5-round season, with action kicking off in Kramolin, Czech Republic on 10 / 11 May, before heading away from mainland Europe to the UK for the first time in two years, to Fox Hill on 24 / 25 May. The third round of the European championship shall see the paddock move to Gdansk, Poland, over the weekend of 14 / 15 June, and this shall complete the first half of the season before a brief break over the summer period.
Returning for round four on 16 / 17 August, the championship shall arrive in Madona, Latvia, before heading to the final round of the season, with all eyes on the coveted title of being European champion, in Vesoul, France, over the weekend of 6 / 7 September. Patrick Turrini shall undoubtedly be looking to reclaim the crown that was his in 2023, and you can guarantee that Harry Walker will be fighting to hold on to the title for the second year running.
As always, the teams Nations event shall be held at the end of the season, 3 weeks after the final round in Heerde, Netherlands, on 27 / 28 September, and it will be both exciting and interesting to see how the reigning champions Team USA fair in the deep sand.
All qualifying and racing action shall be livestreamed, to ensure that absolutely none of the season is missed. There are a few more announcements from teams and riders to be made, however, with national championships commencing soon, it is safe to say that 2025 is gearing up to be a season that shall go down in the history books.
